I don’t know if I have ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) or just a whole lot of “senior moments” and an inability to concentrate like I used to. The latter is likely the case since I didn’t have this problem as a child.
I also didn’t have a computer as a child. Hmmmm….
I just sat down at the computer to place an order at J.C. Penney. I have a free shipping coupon from my last order and thought that I’d order a couple more pairs of those pants that worked out so well. Well, I logged onto my Yahoo mail account to get the free shipping code number and saw that I had an invitation from Bippy (a friend) to join her on Twitter (a new keep-in-touch website.) I went there and signed up for an account. Had to nose around a bit and then upload a pic of me, which needed to be downsized to be accepted by the website. Had to look at Bippy’s profile and see who else I knew on Twitter.
Then I saw that an email had come in from Amazon.com, which reminded me that I wanted to look for a book for my husband’s birthday coming up in early May. Went to Amazon and looked around for a bit. Updated my Wishlist. Discovered that the book I wanted is no longer in print but could be bought used at twice what it went for new. Wow! Wondered if Barnes and Noble had it cheaper. Went there. Updated my account.
Went to Blacklock Gallery’s website to see if they were still selling copies of this book.
Oh, yeah… the J.C. Penney order. Went back to my Yahoo account to retrieve the free shipping code and finally got the order placed — a half-hour later.
And I still haven’t gotten the taxes started that I was going to file using the Turbo Tax program today. Do you think there is still time or will I merely be led down another primose path on the Internet?
